ABOUT US
As the Central Masonic Temple Corporation (CMT) moves forward in a new long term agreement with the Towers Corporation, which will allow us to continue meeting as Masonic bodies in the Scottish Rite building, the necessity to reiterate or outline numerous policies as set out by the Towers Corporation is paramount. Also as the CMT welcomes new Masonic bodies into the Scottish Rite Building and as existing lodges amalgamate with other lodges already in the CMT family or with lodges in other locations, implementation and a review of our collective policies is required.

LOCKERS

Each Masonic body in the CMT family will be assigned a locker within the building, however it should be noted that all lockers are the property of CMT. Should a Masonic body leave the CMT family, that locker must be vacated by the expiry of your assessment, currently Aug. 31 annually. Any Masonic body having rented an additional locker while remaining within the CMT family will maintain that locker until required by the CMT. Any Masonic body having rented an additional locker; when leaving the CMT family, must vacate that locker and return the keys by the expiry of your assessment, currently Aug. 31 annually. Failure to vacate the locker and return the keys as required will result in the contents being removed and disposed of accordingly. A fee may apply to non-subscribers.

MEETING NIGHTS

The Towers Corporation will continue to encourage the use of the building for all appropriate functions. This will require the cooperation of all Member and Non-Member Bodies to work with the CMT in scheduling the various additional meeting dates and specific locations within the building. Only Regular and Emergent lodge meetings are to be held in the lodge meeting rooms. Board of General Purpose meetings are to be held elsewhere in the building as per the planned schedule and Ken Adamson is the contact for this purpose. Arrangements can be made through the CMT Scheduler for additional time and space should it be required. A lodge practice is a facet of an Emergent night.
